Requirements
- Several years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales, ideally in automation, robotics, or machinery
- Proven success in complex project and CAPEX sales
- Established network with machine builders, OEMs, or system integrators, ideally within the packaging industry
- Solid understanding of automation systems and industrial applications
- Strong commercial mindset and closing capability
- Excellent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
Tasks
- Execute regional sales strategy with focus on sustainable growth
- Build, manage, and maintain qualified sales pipeline
- Identify, engage, and win new customers, especially serial packaging machine builders
- Leverage and expand existing networks within OEM/system integrator ecosystem
- Build and maintain long-term, strategic customer relationships
- Lead complex CAPEX sales cycles (6-18 months)
- Analyze customer applications and communicate technical/economic value (ROI)
- Deliver technical presentations to engineering and management stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and operations
- Represent company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
- Provide structured market/customer feedback for product and business development
