- Delivered large-scale physical product programmes as project/delivery lead in military/defence contexts
- Managed land domain products through development, manufacturing, fielding
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Applied structured project management methodologies
- Governed roadmaps, risk registers, KPI frameworks across complex programmes
- Coordinated across design, supply chains, engineering, overseas manufacturers
- Delivered defence products to standard, on time, within budget
- Built programme steering dashboards
- Presented complex performance data to senior leadership
- Translated metrics into decision-ready briefings
- Meet all requirements for national security clearance
- Willing to travel regularly to partner, manufacturer, customer sites
- Full fluency in English
- Full fluency in German
- Familiarity with defence procurement structures or government contract environments
- Experience at interface between technical delivery and commercial programme management
- Background in engineering, political science or related discipline
- Domain fluency for engaging with defence customers
- Navigating technical complexity of physical product programmes
Tasks
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of integrated Helsing products
- Bridge design teams, supply chains, engineering functions, and internal manufacturing
- Ensure products meet standards, stay within budget, and are delivered on schedule
- Work with delivery teams, defence customers, partners, and senior stakeholders
- Govern the full product development lifecycle
- Maintain clear programme visibility for company leadership
- Translate complex technical and commercial interdependencies into structured delivery
- Own the internal and external project roadmap
- Drive prioritisation of deliverables
- Communicate programme status to defence customers and partners
- Build and maintain a programme steering dashboard
- Track KPIs for supply chain performance, engineering milestones, and contractual commitments
- Surface risks to senior leadership
- Propose course corrections before they affect delivery
- Govern stakeholder interactions across internal engineering teams, supply chain partners, overseas manufacturers, and military customers
- Ensure decision-making is structured, traceable, and aligned with commitments
- Coordinate headcount planning and recruitment needs
- Establish governance standards for Helsing's project management function
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Translate lessons learned into scalable practices
- Enhance Helsing's ability to win and execute future defence opportunities
