Requirements
- Master degree in vehicle engineering or related
- Experience in vehicle stability or brake systems
- Experience in ESP products VDC module development
- Proficiency in classical and modern control theory
- Proficiency in C programming and embedded software
- Skill in Matlab/Simulink and CarSim modeling
- Familiarity with vehicle chassis and integrated control
- Experience with functional safety components development (plus)
- Fluent written and spoken English
Tasks
- Analyze algorithm requirements and design system architecture
- Research and develop vehicle stability and torque vectoring technologies
- Model and optimize control strategies for torque vector systems
- Develop algorithm models using Matlab and Simulink
- Build hardware-in-the-loop and road test platforms using dSPACE
- Review designs and verify control algorithm performance
- Support vehicle performance tests and bench evaluations
- Assist embedded software engineers with code transplantation
- Debug control algorithms and resolve field issues
- Create technical reports and development documentation
- Perform failure mode analysis for system development
- Support parameter calibration to meet customer requirements
- Optimize modeling specifications and lead technical reviews
