Requirements

  • •PhD in pharmaceutical technology
  • •Long-standing scientific pharmaceutical development experience
  • •Focus on ocular drug delivery
  • •Expertise in PLGA polymer characterization
  • •Expertise in biopharmaceutical development aspects
  • •Expertise in end-to-end pharmaceutical development
  • •Expertise in rational formulation design
  • •Good knowledge in MS-Office
  • •Knowledge of common laboratory software
  • •Motivation and well-organized teamwork
  • •Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • •Problem-solving and interdisciplinary leadership skills
  • •High technical and organizational problem-solving
  • •Fluency in English
  • •Technical writing and documentation competencies

Doctoral / PhD

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Lead scientific teams and personnel development
  • •Develop strategic concepts for extended-release ocular formulations
  • •Manage end-to-end development from feasibility to registration
  • •Scout and implement innovative drug delivery technologies
  • •Oversee external collaborations with CDMOs
  • •Represent the drug product department in international teams
  • •Coordinate pharmaceutical development activities for NCE projects
  • •Apply QbD and QRM principles to product development
  • •Prepare and approve manufacturing documentation and SOPs
  • •Contribute to regulatory submissions and health authority queries
  • •Support patent applications with the intellectual property team
  • •Foster cross-functional knowledge exchange within the scientific network
  • •Represent the company in external scientific organizations
