Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in organic chemistry
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms
  • •Hands-on experience with laboratory reaction setups
  • •Experience in analytical techniques for reaction monitoring
  • •Proficiency in scientific searching engines and chemical drawing tools
  • •Intercultural competencies, ideally shown by experience abroad
  • •Proficient communication skills in English, good command in German
  • •Valid residency permit for internship in Germany

Education

Master's degree

Currently in higher education

Tasks

  • •Support the synthesis of new molecules for lead generation and optimization projects
  • •Plan and execute organic chemistry experiments, including purification and characterization
  • •Analyze experimental data using NMR and LC-MS, interpret results, and document findings
  • •Conduct scientific literature searches for synthetic methods and reaction mechanisms
  • •Explore and optimize synthetic routes to improve scope, yield, and scalability
  • •Follow laboratory safety protocols and ensure compliance with internal standards
