Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in infrastructure, operations, platform, or DevOps roles
  • •Strong experience with AWS in production
  • •Strong experience with Kubernetes in production
  • •Solid observability experience with Prometheus, Thanos, or Grafana
  • •Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • •Hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps principles
  • •Comfortable working in a remote-first environment in European time zones
  • •German language skills (B2)

Tasks

  • •Design, build, and operate the AWS- and Kubernetes-based platform
  • •Own specific areas like Kubernetes, observability, networking, or IaC
  • •Operate production AWS environments across multiple accounts and environments
  • •Manage Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, capacity, reliability, and security
  • •Design and maintain Argo CD-based GitOps workflows for multiple clusters and environments
  • •Contribute to CI/CD patterns and deployment strategies with the team
  • •Evolve and operate the observability stack using Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana Loki, and Grafana Tempo
  • •Define useful SLOs, dashboards, and alerting for teams
  • •Work on Kubernetes networking, Ingress controllers, and traffic routing
  • •Contribute to designs using Envoy, API gateways, and SD-VPN solutions
  • •Build and maintain Terraform modules and state layouts for AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • •Migrate existing manual infrastructure to Terraform with minimal disruption
  • •Support connectivity and integration between cloud workloads and on-prem systems
  • •Participate in design reviews, incident reviews, and on-call duties as part of the Platform team
  • •Provide clear platform interfaces, documentation, and examples for product teams
