- Demonstrated mastery of DFM and DFS

- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Skilled in CAD design and technical documentation
- Prior experience in EV charging or power electronics
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Tasks
- Lead mechanical and electrical design of EV charging systems
- Ensure designs meet DFM and DFS standards
- Develop reliable and cost-efficient designs aligned with IEC 61851-23 and UL 2231-1/-2
- Conduct design reviews and structured risk assessments
- Perform FMEAs to identify and mitigate potential issues
- Create and maintain detailed 2D/3D CAD models and schematics
- Develop BOMs and technical documentation
- Support design integration and manufacturing readiness with customers
- Facilitate smooth prototype-to-production transitions
- Collaborate with field service teams to incorporate feedback into designs
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in EV charging
- Understand the impact of design choices on manufacturing and serviceability
- Communicate effectively across functions including electronics and software
- Solve complex engineering problems with hands-on and structured approaches
- Adopt a pragmatic mindset: build early, test often, learn fast
- Adapt between precision and speed based on design stage
- Take ownership and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment
