Senior Manager Evidence and Access Strategy - Ion DACH(m/w/x)
Developing market access and reimbursement strategies for robotic-assisted surgery technologies in the DACH region. Health economics training and DACH healthcare market understanding required. Collaboration with sales and clinical affairs teams.
Requirements
- Health Economics training and experience in medical device sector
- Understanding of DACH healthcare markets and policy requirements
- Established network of key stakeholders in DACH region
- Market Access/Reimbursement strategy experience
- Value demonstration, dossier, and communication experience
- Fluency in German and English
- Degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related field
- Postgraduate qualification (plus)
- At least 5 years relevant experience in market access, health economics, or reimbursement
- MedTech sector experience (Pharma backgrounds considered)
- Strong understanding of German healthcare and reimbursement system
- Experience with Austria and Switzerland (plus)
- Senior-level stakeholder engagement with German market access stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Fluent communication skills in German and English
- Ability to present confidently and write clearly for professional audiences
- Field reimbursement experience in Hospital setting
Tasks
- Report to Director of Evidence Strategy and Access, Europe
- Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Affairs, and Global Access Value and Economics teams
- Develop frameworks for assessing and appraising robotics-assisted technologies
- Lead market access, reimbursement, and funding activities for DACH region
- Define and shape access pathways for MedTech and capital equipment
- Manage relationships with key national and local stakeholders
- Strengthen engagement and advocacy with Key Opinion Leaders and scientific societies
- Initiate and govern consultancy engagements for market access initiatives
- Secure optimal reimbursement and funding across the region
- Analyze funding pathways and policy changes
- Translate policy and payment system changes into actionable strategies
- Establish a network of opinion leaders across providers, payers, and policymakers
- Develop and execute market access strategies at national and local levels
- Lead HTA activities and prepare national or regional HTA dossiers
- Engage with assessment bodies and align clinical and economic evidence
- Serve as primary HTA expert for robotics-assisted bronchoscopy BU
- Leverage clinical data and real-world evidence for market access strategies
- Strengthen value narratives to support coverage, reimbursement, and funding
