In this role, you will navigate the complexities of data protection laws, ensuring compliance while collaborating with various teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve implementing new regulations, supporting data subject rights, and driving awareness of data protection practices.

Requirements

• •Deep knowledge of European data protection laws and best practices
• •Graduation from accredited law school
• •Licensed to practice law in Germany or another EU jurisdiction
• •Relevant professional experience and sound knowledge of data protection law
• •Proficiency in English and German (written and verbal)
• •Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• •Assertive and convincing personality
• •Strong team-working skills
• •Ability to work in an international environment
• •Proficiency in other languages advantageous
• •Business/technical background advantageous
• •General knowledge of company processes and collaboration with global teams
• •Several years of working experience

Tasks

• •Ensure compliance with data protection laws
• •Implement new data protection requirements
• •Support strategic data protection programs
• •Assist with data subject rights requests
• •Communicate with supervisory authorities
• •Execute data protection impact assessments
• •Support daily operations of data protection controls
• •Drive compliance monitoring through the Data Protection Control Framework
• •Collaborate with internal business partners on data protection awareness
• •Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigating actions
• •Draft and execute Data Protection and Privacy guidelines
• •Support investigations on data protection compliance
