In this role, you will navigate complex data protection and privacy challenges, providing legal guidance to ensure compliance with regulations while supporting strategic objectives in a dynamic, international environment.

Requirements

• •Deep knowledge of European data protection laws and best practices
• •Graduation from accredited law school, further graduation advantageous
• •Licensed to practice law in Germany or another EU jurisdiction
• •Relevant professional experience and sound knowledge of data protection law
• •Proficiency in English and German (written and verbal)
• •Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• •Assertive and convincing personality, high level of commitment and flexibility
• •Strong team-working skills
• •Ability to work in an international environment
• •Proficiency in other languages advantageous
• •Business/technical background advantageous
• •General knowledge of company processes and collaboration with global teams
• •Several years of working experience

Tasks

• •Provide legal advice on data protection and privacy issues
• •Advise on the use of new technologies in cloud services and products
• •Implement new data protection requirements based on applicable laws
• •Support strategic data protection programs
• •Assist with data subject rights requests and communication with authorities
• •Execute data protection impact assessments for high-risk cases
• •Support day-to-day operations and design internal data protection controls
• •Collaborate with internal partners to raise awareness of data protection risks
• •Draft and execute Data Protection and Privacy guidelines
• •Support investigations on data protection compliance
