Requirements
- Vocational IT training or comparable qualification
- Several years of hands-on System Administrator experience
- Strong Windows Server knowledge
- Solid technical experience: networking, OS, databases, end-user support
- Systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- MySQL, Oracle DB, and PL/SQL knowledge
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall basics)
- Backup and recovery concepts knowledge
- Valid Class B driving license
Tasks
- Provide first-class service and support to GE Healthcare SEI customers
- Interface with customers to respond to reported incident issues
- Attend regular service support visits
- Support remote and on-site installation and upgrade teams
- Perform software and OS patching or safety updates
- Manage customer expectations and ensure clear communication
- Conduct structured fault analysis in complex IT environments
- Set up, install, configure, operate, monitor, and maintain servers
- Analyze and resolve system, performance, and stability issues
- Implement sustainable solutions, including updates and upgrades
- Provide independent on-site and remote troubleshooting
- Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
- Ensure high system availability and technical quality
- Act as a professional point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers
- Manage service activities end-to-end
- Ensure SLA compliance, response times, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configurations, tickets, and service reports
- Adhere to quality, safety, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
- Contribute to IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new system architectures
