Requirements

  • Completed technical (university) degree (e.g., geoinformatics, computer science, information technology, or utility)
  • Professional experience in project work (network information systems or geographic information systems)
  • Advantageous experience in the energy industry
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft operating systems, IIS, Active Directory, Group Policies, network)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (MS PowerShell or similar)
  • Good knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL Server), ideally complemented by .Net programming experience
  • Structured thinking, goal- and success-oriented work style
  • Good English and very good German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips

Tasks

  • Manage partial projects for Network Information Systems.
  • Support projects in utility and telecommunications sectors.
  • Analyze and specify customer requirements.
  • Configure existing software modules or database tables.
  • Install software solutions.
  • Test software solutions.
  • Manage software solution acceptance.
  • Deploy software solutions.
  • Prepare project documentation for all planning phases.
  • Ensure documentation quality and deadline compliance.
  • Prepare and conduct technical customer presentations.
  • Act as point of contact for project management.
  • Act as point of contact for customer support.
