Tasks
- Lead photodiode and laser integration projects
- Design, build, characterize, and validate PICs
- Perform hands-on PIC testing and optical alignment
- Bring up systems, including signal readout and performance evaluation
- Collaborate with photonics, electronics, and packaging teams
- Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and research partners
- Maintain configuration control of process flows
- Keep clear decision and action logs
- Introduce automation strategies for characterization
- Propose new process trials based on results
- Optimize integration yield and throughput
- Track KPIs: assembly yield, responsivity, TIA SNR, bandwidth, schedule adherence, cost per channel, and risks mitigated
