Requirements

  • •Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer engineering, information technology, mechatronics, or comparable qualification
  • •Experience in development and testing of e-bike drive systems and power electronics, including relevant interfaces such as CAN 2.0
  • •Expertise in developing electronic hardware and software for controlling and regulating drive technology in e-bike systems, in compliance with current standards (EMC, functional safety, DIN EN 15194)
  • •Proficient in using EDA software such as Altium Designer, circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE); experience with SolidWorks is a plus
  • •Excellent and practical knowledge in circuit design, electronics layout, drive technology, and power electronics
  • •Committed, assertive, team-oriented, and confident in working within an intercultural corporate environment
  • •Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with PDM systems
  • •Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Develop analog and digital circuits for e-bike drive systems from concept to production
  • •Design PCB layouts considering cost, space, manufacturability, and EMC
  • •Prepare manufacturing data for PCB production and support the manufacturing process
  • •Assemble, commission, and test prototypes
  • •Perform low-level programming to create test software
  • •Design e-bike drive systems including motor, BMS/battery, and sensors
  • •Support and develop peripheral components like cable harnesses, HMIs, remote controls, and displays
  • •Independently develop and implement testing methods and plans for hardware and embedded software
  • •Work autonomously within the project team, analyzing and planning work packages in collaboration with software and frontend developers
  • •Express potential interest in a team leadership role
