Senior Engineer for Hardware Development(m/w/x)
Developing analog/digital circuits and PCB layouts for e-bike drive systems, including prototype testing and low-level programming. Experience with e-bike drive systems, power electronics, and relevant standards (EMC, DIN EN 15194) essential. Monthly tax-free benefit, flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical, communications, computer, information technology, mechatronics, or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience in e-bike drive systems, power electronics development and testing (e.g., CAN 2.0)
- Expertise in electronic hardware/software development for e-bike drive technology (EMC, functional safety, DIN EN 15194)
- Proficiency in EDA software (Altium Designer), circuit simulation (SPICE); SolidWorks experience a plus
- Excellent practical knowledge in circuit design, electronics layout, drive technology, power electronics
- Commitment, assertiveness, teamwork, confidence in intercultural corporate environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); PDM systems experience
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
Tasks
- Develop analog and digital circuits for e-bike systems
- Design PCB layouts considering cost, space, manufacturability, EMC
- Prepare manufacturing data for PCB production
- Support the PCB manufacturing process
- Assemble, commission, and test prototypes
- Program low-level software for testing
- Design e-bike drive systems (motor, BMS, battery, sensors)
- Support and develop e-bike peripheral components
- Develop and implement hardware and embedded software testing
- Work autonomously within the project team
- Analyze and plan work packages with software/frontend developers
