Requirements

  • •Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or comparable qualification
  • •Knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations
  • •Experience in bookkeeping and VAT compliance
  • •Proficiency in DATEV and Unternehmen Online

  • •Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Tasks

  • •Maintain accurate bookkeeping according to HGB standards
  • •Manage German tax matters including VAT and corporate tax
  • •Lead monthly reporting and annual financial statement preparation
  • •Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
  • •Automate manual finance and accounting workflows
  • •Manage data and processes within DATEV Unternehmen Online
  • •Develop internal financial reports for leadership decision-making
  • •Optimize expense management and bank reconciliation tools
  • •Ensure documentation meets German regulatory requirements
  • •Build and maintain integrated 3-statement financial models
  • •Implement rolling forecasts and annual budgeting cycles
  • •Analyze unit economics to identify growth levers
  • •Prepare financial data for future fundraising due diligence
