Senior Expert Group Executive Compensation(m/w/x)
Designing executive compensation systems for a major insurance group, including board paper preparation and external benchmark studies. 8-10 years of relevant experience in executive compensation required. 38.5-hour week with flexible working hours.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable field
- Additional qualifications (Korn Ferry Hay, GRP, CCP, MBA, LL.M.) are a plus
- 8–10 years relevant professional experience in executive compensation, total rewards, or comparable area
- Ideally experience in listed environment, top consulting firm, or regulated financial services group
- Sound knowledge of Austrian Corporate Governance Code
- Sound knowledge of Solvency II remuneration requirements
- Sound knowledge of AIFMD
- Sound knowledge of EU Pay Transparency Directive
- Hands-on experience designing equity-based remuneration instruments
- Hands-on experience valuing equity-based remuneration instruments
- Experience with Performance Shares, RSUs, Phantom Stock, co-investment models
- Confident presence with Management Board and Senior Management
- Proven experience supporting Senior Stakeholder meetings
- Proven experience preparing Senior Stakeholder meetings
- High level of discretion
- High level of integrity
- High level of sensitivity handling confidential information
- Excellent MS Excel skills at board level
- Excellent MS PowerPoint skills at board level
- Power BI is a plus
- Business-fluent English
- Working knowledge of German

Tasks
- Design and develop remuneration systems for Management Board and senior executives
- Prepare Remuneration Committee meetings with board papers, scenario analyses, and benchmark reviews
- Conduct annual external benchmark study for Management Board and senior executives
- Steer external remuneration advisors and translate market data into recommendations
- Draft annual Remuneration Report in line with Austrian Stock Corporation Act
- Own remuneration-related sections of Annual Report, Corporate Governance Report, and Sustainability Report
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Solvency II and relevant EIOPA/FMA requirements
- Lead Group-wide compensation projects including LTI redesign, ESG performance criteria, and M&A-related remuneration topics
