Requirements
- Master’s, Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 8–10 years in industrial sector
- Expertise in Electrical engineering and commissioning
- Experience in Swiss industrial environment
- Experience in chemicals, pharmaceuticals or process industries preferred
- Solid background in EMSR / EIA and instrumentation
- GMP knowledge: plus
- Fluency in German
- Professional working level English
- French: an asset
- Structured and analytical mindset
- High level of autonomy and ownership
- Strong client-facing attitude
- Team player with technical leadership capabilities
- Willingness to work on industrial sites
Tasks
- Conduct low, medium, and high-voltage distribution studies
- Design detailed electrical schematic diagrams
- Specify power conversion systems and electrical equipment
- Define and size instruments and technical lists
- Coordinate with suppliers and the purchasing department
- Perform technical comparisons of supplier offers
- Manage project costing and budget estimates
- Verify data compliance with applicable standards
- Design EIA and EMSR architectures
- Ensure quality of detailed engineering deliverables
- Interface with process, electrical, and mechanical teams
- Execute FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
- Act as the primary technical client contact
- Lead EIA work packages and monitor progress
- Propose and present optimized technical solutions
- Support and mentor junior engineering staff
- Perform on-site assignments at industrial client locations
- Support plant start-up and operational activities
