Tasks
- Develop regional merchandising strategies for Apparel, Footwear, Hardgoods & Accessories
- Build and lead a high-performing team of merchants
- Create product positioning and assortment strategies based on consumer insights
- Lead seasonal product buying and sales planning for profitable growth
- Build regional store assortment plans based on existing store clusters
- Oversee product investments and optimize product lifecycle
- Act as the voice of the region to Global Product Management teams
- Own key KPIs for the EMEA market, including sales and inventory productivity
- Drive pricing, promotion, and inventory strategies for profitability
- Build relationships with regional commercial leaders to enhance performance
- Monitor and analyze consumer behaviors and market dynamics
- Contribute to broader business strategy as a member of the EMEA leadership team
- Encourage innovation and explore new category opportunities
- Champion digital and data-driven decision-making in merchandising operations
- Drive development and implementation of tools for operational efficiency
- Uphold Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct in the supply chain
- Define and implement the long-term merchandising vision for EMEA
- Drive business transformation initiatives for cross-regional collaboration
- Collaborate with Store Planning to develop tailored clustering principles
- Partner with global teams to test new product concepts and GTM approaches
- Build a sustainable growth path balancing global priorities with local opportunities
