Tasks
- Lead design and implementation of global payroll processes
- Provide leadership for end-to-end remuneration and tax processes
- Define and design payroll and time strategy and policy framework
- Manage relationships with HR, Finance, and GBS teams
- Ensure strong data governance and payroll accuracy
- Develop payroll and time strategy within evolving HR Shared Services model
- Establish best-in-class payroll and time solutions
- Lead payroll and time transformation initiatives
- Drive adherence to consistent framework and coordinate regional efforts
- Build partnerships and solicit feedback from business partners
- Provide oversight to team activities and compliance standards
- Implement and leverage technology to fit company needs
- Track and communicate performance against service level agreements
- Provide technical advice and manage employment tax audits
- Engage with internal and external counsel and auditors
- Drive process and policy recommendations with stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing by vendors and in-house
- Oversee pension and benefit administration for Germany
- Manage initiatives for continuous improvement in payroll and time
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax compliance reporting
- Develop performance measurements and benchmarks
- Align with key partners on ToBe architecture direction
- Understand cloud-based HR and Payroll systems and third-party opportunities
