Requirements
- Proven experience building and running developer communities (3+ years)
- Experience with community platforms (Discord, Stack Overflow, Reddit or similar)
- Owning community strategy, growing engagement, and driving developer adoption
- Software engineering background
- Hands-on Python skills for compute-intensive tasks
- Creating credible tutorials and reference implementations
- Deep understanding of AI algorithms
- Deep understanding of scientific algorithms
- Strong public speaking skills
- Strong presentation skills engaging technical audiences
- Energized by standing on stage, running workshops
- Proactive approach to people
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Proven ability to create technical content (blog posts, tutorials, whitepapers)
- Content creator, not content manager
- Cultivate deep relationships with developer advocates, early adopters, and influencers
- Engage 1:1, gather feedback, and build network of champions
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills
- Align technical teams, marketing, and external stakeholders
- Experience working with clients in technical context
- Served as technical interface to external partners
- Fluent English for public speaking, writing, and community moderation
- Experience with open source tooling (GitHub, Jupyter notebooks)
- Experience with community events (hackathons, workshops)
- Deep tech context experience (quantum computing, photonics, HPC)
- Experience engaging with academic communities (universities, research labs)
- Scientific communication experience
Tasks
- Build and run Q.ANT's developer community
- Define and execute developer community strategy
- Conceive, plan, and run forums, meetups, and hackathons
- Run engagement activities to grow developer base
- Represent Q.ANT as a speaker at events
- Present confidently to technical audiences
- Build relationships with developers, researchers, and partners
- Create and curate technical content
- Author blog posts and tutorials
- Write whitepapers and articles
- Develop hands-on learning materials
- Create code examples and reference implementations
- Serve as technical interface to clients and partners
- Answer technical questions
- Run workshops for developers
- Ensure developer success with Q.ANT hardware
- Establish Q.ANT as a thought leader
- Engage on developer platforms like GitHub and Reddit
- Coordinate with internal technical teams
- Align content and messaging with product roadmap
