In this role, you will analyze search data to uncover insights and drive improvements in the search experience. By collaborating with a cross-functional team, you will develop data-driven solutions and evaluate advanced technologies to enhance search relevance for millions of users.

Requirements

• •Ph.D., M.Sc. or equivalent in Deep Learning, NLP or Statistics
• •Ability to systematically and independently analyze complex data
• •Proficiency in SQL and Python's scientific computing packages
• •Ability to apply causal inference analyses and experiments
• •Experience with Python's Machine Learning packages beyond scikit-learn
• •Excellent communication skills in English
• •Intermediate communication skills in German

Tasks

• •Analyze large volumes of search data
• •Uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities
• •Identify and clean issues such as bot traffic
• •Drive solution design and business impact assessments
• •Elaborate requirements for data-driven solutions
• •Identify dependencies and lead development

• •Apply deep statistical methods and ML evaluation techniques
• •Deliver robust, measurable solutions as services or APIs
• •Create dashboards and KPIs to monitor impact and quality
• •Define hypotheses and conduct A/B testing
• •Recognize potential of existing data
• •Proactively identify missing elements to enhance solutions
