Senior Data Scientist(m/w/x)
Building and maintaining machine learning models for global risk, fraud, and identity management products at a data and technology company. Deep knowledge of statistical methods, ML algorithms (e.g., boosted trees), and Python/Scala proficiency required. High degree of autonomy, flexible working hours, remote work options.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Deep knowledge of statistical methods and ML algorithms (logistic regression, boosted trees)
- Proficiency in Python or Scala
- Experience with ML frameworks (XGBoost, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with data manipulation/extraction from data lakes/storages using SQL and Spark
- Ability to analyze business/risk processes and translate into data models
- Ability to interpret and apply analytical models in business context; demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate into data models for data-driven decision-making (ideal)
- Experience in credit bureau or financial services environment (plus, not mandatory)
- Strong communication of complex analytical results and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

- Ensure proper implementation of analytical solutions
- Ensure proper implementation of new product features
- Improve processes
- Ensure model accuracy and integrity
- Perform rigorous testing and validation processes
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings
- Maintain transparency and reproducibility
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from data lake
