- Knowledge of international sanctions
- Knowledge of export control regimes
- Hands-on experience with OneTrust
- Relevant professional certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CFE, ACAMS-ABAC)
- Fluency in other European languages (e.g., French, Spanish)
Tasks
- Lead data protection in Germany and Austria
- Implement and maintain local data protection policies
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Stay informed about latest privacy laws
- Provide expert guidance on data protection matters
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements
- Manage consultations with the Works Council
- Serve as contact for data protection authorities
- Maintain records of processing activities (RoPA)
- Support conducting impact assessments (DPIAs)
- Manage data subject requests
- Lead data breach response procedures
- Conduct company-wide data protection trainings
- Act as liaison to Group Data Privacy Office
- Design and implement ethics and anti-corruption program
- Manage internal fraud and corruption risks
- Advise on third-party due diligence
- Guide on conflicts of interest and gifts
- Negotiate ethics-related contract clauses
- Develop and deliver ethical training programs
- Handle whistleblowing cases and confidential reports
- Conduct fair and timely investigations
- Monitor regulatory environment for payments
- Maintain central knowledge base
- Provide actionable summaries to teams
- Advise on payment regulations
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Collaborate on business initiatives and contracts
- Define and update compliance framework
- Review and update compliance policies
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate projects within Financial Services Compliance network
