Developing scalable data platforms for New Space satellite launch solutions. Hands-on practice with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake required. 30 days vacation, plus 20% employer contribution to pension plan.
Requirements
- Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, and DataFrame handling
- Hands-on practice with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Highly proficient with batch and streaming data processing
- Solid understanding of data architectures
- Experience with DeltaLake and Iceberg storage frameworks
- Excellent SQL proficiency for data querying, transformation, and analysis
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Experience with Python query engines, e.g., polars, duckdb
- Experience with Kafka and related technologies, e.g., Apache Flink
- Hands-on experience with PowerBI
- Understanding of infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and network
Tasks
- Work hands-on with the Data Platform
- Build scalable, high-performance data solutions
- Develop and deploy efficient ETL/ELT processes
- Ingest, transform, and load large amounts of data
- Contribute to data modeling and architecture decisions
- Ensure data consistency, accessibility, and low latency
- Maintain the long-term integrity of the data landscape
- Validate data quality and adhere to governance policies
- Provide observability for Data Platform processes
- React quickly to any disruptions in data processes
- Author technical and user documentation
- Guide and mentor less experienced engineers
