Requirements

  • •Experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, and DataFrame handling
  • •Hands-on practice with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • •Highly proficient with batch and streaming data processing
  • •Solid understanding of data architectures
  • •Experience with DeltaLake and Iceberg storage frameworks
  • •Excellent SQL proficiency for data querying, transformation, and analysis
  • •Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • •Experience with Python query engines, e.g., polars, duckdb
  • •Experience with Kafka and related technologies, e.g., Apache Flink
  • •Hands-on experience with PowerBI
  • •Understanding of infrastructure, Azure cloud services, and network

Tasks

  • •Work hands-on with the Data Platform
  • •Build scalable, high-performance data solutions
  • •Develop and deploy efficient ETL/ELT processes
  • •Ingest, transform, and load large amounts of data
  • •Contribute to data modeling and architecture decisions
  • •Ensure data consistency, accessibility, and low latency
  • •Maintain the long-term integrity of the data landscape
  • •Validate data quality and adhere to governance policies
  • •Provide observability for Data Platform processes
  • •React quickly to any disruptions in data processes
  • •Author technical and user documentation
  • •Guide and mentor less experienced engineers
