- Prepare complex comparison charts for bids
- Homogenize product/service specifications
- Ease purchase management through synergies
- Improve negotiation results
- Aggregate demand to optimize workload
- Fulfill purchase processes accurately
- Present purchase strategy to Purchasing Committee
- Present received bids to Purchasing Committee
- Present award proposals to Purchasing Committee
- Record purchase information in procurement systems
- Support purchase strategy implementation for best results
- Ensure internal client satisfaction
- Manage supplier offer requests and reception
- Analyze supplier offers
- Homogenize supplier offers
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Foster electronic negotiation (e-sourcing)
- Support vendor negotiation phase
- Ensure and promote optimal product line supplier use
- Maximize supplier concurrency
- Consider supplier quality and service levels
- Promote best practice development and implementation
- Develop methodologies to add value to purchases
- Improve purchase results (price and conditions)
- Cooperate in creating the global procurement map
- Cooperate in creating the spent scorecard
- Follow up on procurement map and scorecard fulfillment
