Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • Strong hands-on experience with PLCs or similar automation equipment
  • Experience in designing, commissioning, and using test rigs
  • Extensive experience troubleshooting electrical cabinets, wiring, and instrumentation in aerospace/automation
  • Extensive experience automating testing and interconnecting test equipment via analog or digital interfaces
  • Experience testing electrical systems in aerospace test rigs and troubleshooting in laboratory
  • Experience with PCB design and debugging with common electrical/electronic equipment
  • Clean, organized, and structured work approach
  • Basic knowledge in Python, C++, or similar
  • Fluent English
  • Knowledge of common aerospace industry standards
  • Basic understanding of common aerospace systems
  • Affiliations with countries listed under § 13 para. 1 no. 17 SÜG may affect application process

  • Maintain existing test rigs
  • Upgrade existing test rigs
  • Increase testing automation
  • Identify testing workflow bottlenecks
  • Identify test rig bottlenecks
  • Resolve testing bottlenecks
  • Create unit and system test plans
  • Correlate test plans with requirements
  • Conduct unit level functional testing
  • Conduct system level functional testing
  • Conduct system level functional testing after integration
  • Conduct launcher level functional testing
  • Ensure safe operation of test rigs
  • Report on conducted tests
