Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or comparable qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in AI platform engineering, AI training & inference, or AI tooling
- Track record of leading and implementing large and complex technical AI solutions
- Experience with AI solutions on the edge or excitement to transfer knowledge to the in-vehicle domain
- Hands-on experience in machine learning or generative AI and proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Node.js/Nest.js, Java/Kotlin, or Go
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures, container orchestration, and (ML)Ops of scalable cloud services
- Very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of German is an advantage
Tasks
- Build and operate AI platforms for data pipelines
- Train, deploy, and run AI models
- Optimize AI models using suitable ML and LLM approaches
- Provide technical leadership and ownership of architecture across teams
- Mentor engineers to achieve operational excellence in AI systems
- Analyze stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable AI platform features
- Ensure reliability and performance of AI-based systems
- Develop cost-efficient operational solutions for AI systems
- Create solutions for interoperability and load distribution between in-vehicle and cloud platforms
- Develop data and context management solutions for personalized AI experiences
