Senior Accounting & Reporting Specialist(m/w/x)

Description

You will ensure financial accuracy by managing complex IFRS and HGB reporting while driving SAP S/4HANA improvements to streamline central accounting and audit processes.

Requirements

• •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• •Six years general ledger accounting experience
• •Experience in international headquarters or listed company
• •Technical accounting knowledge under HGB and IFRS
• •Experience preparing HGB and IFRS statements
• •Understanding of period-end closing processes
• •Solid experience with SAP R/3 or S/4HANA
• •Experience with OneStream is an advantage
• •Analytical skills and attention to detail
• •Proactive, reliable, and hands-on mentality
• •Fluency in German and English

Tasks

• •Prepare HGB financial statements for the company and German subholdings
• •Compile IFRS reporting packages for group consolidation
• •Collaborate closely with the Group Accounting team
• •Manage month-end close activities including accruals and provisions
• •Execute detailed account reconciliations
• •Perform GL account analysis across balance sheet and P&L items
• •Coordinate external audits as a primary contact for auditors
• •Support internal stakeholders during audit processes
• •Serve as an SAP S/4HANA subject matter expert for GL topics
• •Drive continuous improvements and automation in accounting processes
• •Manage fair value and amortized cost accounting for financial instruments
• •Handle IFRS 16 lease accounting and intercompany recharges
• •Analyze M&A contracts and related agreements for accounting impact
• •Support group-internal mergers and system migrations
