Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, within Stress/Structures/Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
  • •5+ years' experience in commercial aircraft design with EASA Part 21, Subpart J Design Organization or equivalent
  • •Solid experience with EASA regulatory and applicable airworthiness requirements
  • •High level of attention to detail
  • •Experience in working effectively with colleagues and customers
  • •Proficiency with Altair HyperWorks, PATRAN / NASTRAN
  • •Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

  • •Manage certification activities for aircraft seating products
  • •Represent Boeing in stress, engineering, and certification discussions
  • •Perform analytical and finite element calculations
  • •Assess and predict structural failure modes

  • •Review supplier data for seat integration approval
  • •Collaborate with Boeing teams and stakeholders to ensure aircraft cabin quality
