As a Sea Freight Coordinator, you will manage logistics for international shipments, ensuring smooth operations through effective communication and collaboration with clients and internal teams. This role involves planning complex shipments and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• •Vocational training in freight forwarding and logistics or comparable qualification
• •Initial professional experience in transport and logistics, ideally with knowledge of international project logistics and ocean freight
• •Solid understanding of complex transport processes, freight calculations, and quotation procedures
• •Strong team orientation and proactive working style
• •Excellent organizational skills, resilience, and motivation to take on new challenges
• •Fluency in German and proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• •Intercultural competence and openness to working in an international environment

Tasks

• •Manage operational logistics processes
• •Calculate freight costs
• •Handle service inquiries and pricing requests
• •Prepare quotations for complex project shipments
• •Plan and coordinate international shipments
• •Focus on intermodal transport and ocean freight
• •Manage heavy lift and oversized cargo movements
• •Coordinate FCL container shipments
• •Communicate with clients and subcontractors
• •Negotiate with shipping lines and agents
• •Support relationships with domestic and international clients
• •Contribute to business development and client acquisition
• •Collaborate with internal departments for project execution
• •Assist with invoice preparation and shipment tracking
• •Report on key performance indicators
• •Ensure compliance with QHSE standards
• •Participate in trainings and safety briefings
