Requirements

• •Familiarity with university research and development
• •Enjoyment of learning new topics
• •Scientific university degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or comparable field
• •Very good Python programming skills
• •In-depth machine learning and deep learning knowledge
• •Good knowledge of sensor technology and applications
• •Experience handling sensor data and networks
• •Ideally, initial experience with DevOps/MLOps
• •Knowledge of ML model size reduction techniques
• •Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
• •Independent, structured, and self-reliant working style
• •Very good communication skills

Tasks

• •Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models
• •Process and analyze time- and frequency-based sensor data
• •Perform signal processing and feature engineering
• •Set up and maintain data pipelines for sensor acquisition
• •Manage data storage and database processing
• •Train and deploy models using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• •Utilize GPU-based servers and modern IT infrastructure
• •Apply classical ML methods and neural networks
• •Prepare ML models for inference on edge systems
• •Collaborate on MLOps and DevOps automation processes
• •Contribute to national and international research projects
• •Publish research results in journals and at conferences
• •Create structured technical documentation of development results
