Requirements

  • Strong background in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and applied AI with hands-on approach
  • Experience with sensitive data (health, medical devices, IoT, research, or similar domains) (plus)
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures and ML-Ops (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with privacy-preserving or distributed learning approaches (e.g. Federated Learning)
  • Comfort operating in regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Product-driven, pragmatic, curious mindset; willingness to build, test, and learn
  • Capability, mindset, and growth potential

Tasks

  • Build and scale CAELIA's data and AI platform
  • Define and implement end-to-end data strategies
  • Generate clinically meaningful insights from complex data
  • Implement privacy-preserving learning approaches across studies
  • Collaborate with teams to bring models into products
  • Ensure data interoperability (FHIR/HL7)
  • Ensure high data quality
  • Ensure regulatory readiness (GDPR, MDR)
  • Design and evolve scalable medical and sensor data architectures
  • Develop ML pipelines and MLOps workflows in regulated environments
  • Manage model lifecycle, including validation, monitoring, and iteration
  • Ensure model explainability
  • Establish data governance, security, and privacy-by-design
  • Collaborate on clinical studies, pilots, and real-world evidence
  • Translate product and clinical questions into data and model requirements
