Tasks
- Align system modifications and upgrades for SATCOMBw
- Collaborate with Chief Engineers and Lead Systems Engineers
- Oversee overall system performance, including user segment
- Supervise acceptance of major system upgrades
- Maintain system performance throughout its lifecycle
- Propose system improvements and necessary modifications
- Participate in system anomaly boards and support technical resolutions
- Conduct requirements engineering using DOORS for satellite communication systems
- Lead conceptual design activities for satellite communications
- Establish requirements for satellite systems and ground segments
- Analyze end-to-end communications performance
- Define overall system architecture and lead system trade-offs
- Develop verification and validation concepts at the system level
- Collaborate on operations concepts and prepare operational requirements
- Provide technical support to project managers on planning and risk identification
