Aerospace Cyber Security System Architect(m/w/x)
Designing secure architecture for aircraft systems, leading risk assessments. Strong expertise in secure architecture principles (Zero Trust, Defense in Depth) required. 30 days paid vacation, employee stock options.
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications, computer science, or comparable experience
- Several years of experience in system security engineering
- Good knowledge of Cyber Security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27000 Family, NIST 2, CMMC)
- Strong expertise with Secure Architecture Principles and Concepts (e.g. Zero Trust, Defense in Depth, Least Privilege)
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment framework (e.g. EBIOS, NIST SP800-37)
- Solid understanding to define verification and validation procedures for secure architecture
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English; German would be a plus
- Ability to work in a multi-culture team and independently
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
Tasks
- Provide end-to-end support for cyber security projects
- Define security requirements and concepts for specific projects
- Design secure architecture for aerospace solutions
- Lead security risk assessments and threat modeling processes
- Act as the security officer for aerospace projects
- Serve as the point of contact for all security-related topics
- Verify and validate cyber security system and network designs
- Evaluate and adapt baseline for secure system and network configurations
- Support the bid team with technical solutions and effort estimation
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of technical solutions
