Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in SAP CPI, SAP API Management, and SAP Cloud Integration Suite
- Proven experience with REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, and other integration protocols
- Familiarity with SAP BTP, S/4HANA environments, and connectivity with non-SAP systems
- Solid understanding of security standards and protocols such as OAuth, SAML, SSL
- Minimum 8+ years of SAP integration experience, including at least 3 years in a lead or architect role
- SAP Integration Suite or CPI certification is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with project management, integration planning, and process optimization
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional global teams
- Knowledge of regulatory or sustainability-related requirements is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage
Tasks
- Design SAP integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
- Lead the delivery of integration solutions with middleware technologies
- Develop integration strategies and best-practice guidelines
- Collaborate with teams to identify integration points
- Define optimal solution architectures for integrations
- Oversee API-based and event-driven integrations
- Manage integration governance and version control
- Ensure proper documentation and testing standards
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews
- Optimize performance and guide development teams
- Support production operations and issue resolution
- Monitor incidents and drive continuous performance improvement
