- Strong expertise in SAP Authorizations
- Support for SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE) environment
- Designing and managing secure SAP access frameworks
- Collaboration with business stakeholders and IT security teams
- Deep understanding of SAP security concepts
- 8+ years of experience in SAP security
- Deep understanding of SAP security architecture
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA
- Knowledge of Identity & Access Management processes
- Understanding of Basis administration tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating with managed service providers
- Familiarity with IT security frameworks and compliance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Proficiency in English; German language skills advantageous
Tasks
- Design and implement SAP authorization concepts
- Maintain authorization frameworks for S/4HANA PCE
- Develop user roles, profiles, and authorization objects
- Align access controls with business needs and compliance
- Collaborate with teams to support role design for new processes
- Work with the Information Security Manager on governance
- Conduct periodic access reviews and SoD checks
- Perform compliance assessments
- Coordinate with SAP Basis teams for system administration
- Manage transports and security patches
- Monitor system security logs and analyze vulnerabilities
- Recommend proactive mitigation measures
- Support audits with documentation and evidence
- Troubleshoot user access and authorization issues
- Ensure timely resolution and root-cause analysis
- Contribute to improving security frameworks and processes
