Requirements

- Presentation, communication, management, and negotiation skills
- Relationship-oriented and result-driven
- Effective work in remote environment
- Technical background; telecommunications background is an advantage
- Solid technical and business acumen; ability to present and sell solutions
- Hands-on technical capabilities experience is an advantage
- Ability to interface with C-level, management, and technical decision-makers
- Native German speaker (or bilingual) and fluent English; other languages are an advantage
- Ability to travel nationally/internationally (up to 40%)
- Strong ability to work independently without close supervision
Tasks
- Develop and grow sales with direct accounts and channel partners
- Expand Corning’s passive optical footprint in Germany
- Support long-term, sustainable growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies
- Achieve individual revenue targets
- Manage the sales pipeline
- Provide forecast data and other reports
- Offer market intelligence and customer insights
- Support other functional departments
- Participate in regional marketing and market-communication events
- Ensure adherence to Corning’s business processes
- Comply with relevant policies and regulations
- Support Sales Management in assigned tasks

- Vocational certification
