Sales Engineer, TRES (EMEA)(m/w/x)
Positioning TRES Finance for digital asset accounting and reporting in financial operations. Prior accounting/finance exposure and digital asset platform experience expected. Equity participation.
Requirements
- Prior exposure to accounting, finance, or finance-adjacent roles (strongly preferred)
- Experience with digital asset platforms, fintech infrastructure, or regulated financial services
- Familiarity with ERP systems, reconciliation, financial reporting
- Practical experience with finance and accounting teams (CPA not required)
- Experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or similar (nice to have)
- Strong customer-facing presence, ability to build trust
- Clear, structured communication (technical and financial)
- Comfort operating in complex, regulated environments
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Detail-oriented with strong sense of narrative, value, outcomes
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, custody models, transaction lifecycles
- Understanding of custody/transaction platforms (e.g., Fireblocks) data generation
- Conversant in DeFi concepts (lending, staking, liquidity pools, automated strategies)
- Ability to translate complex technical activity into finance narratives
Tasks
- Lead discovery sessions with finance, accounting, and operations stakeholders.
- Understand reconciliation, reporting, audit, and close requirements.
- Position TRES Finance within customer accounting and financial operations.
- Shape solution narratives.
- Connect digital asset activity to accounting outcomes, controls, and reporting confidence.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations to finance and accounting teams.
- Support proof-of-value activities.
- Support technical validation during the sales cycle.
- Apply knowledge of accounting workflows and cycles.
- Understand finance team reporting needs, timing, and data structure.
- Engage accounting stakeholders using their language, frameworks, and priorities.
- Apply understanding of digital asset impact on accounting treatment, controls, and auditability.
- Coordinate and contribute to RFx responses.
- Ensure technical and functional accuracy in RFx responses.
- Manage demo environment setup, maintenance, and readiness with TRES Finance teams.
- Ensure demonstrations reflect real-world accounting and operational scenarios.
- Support Sales with structured responses to finance, risk, and audit questions.
- Enable Fireblocks Sales Engineers on TRES Finance capabilities.
- Train Fireblocks Sales Engineers on TRES Finance positioning.
- Prepare Fireblocks Sales Engineers for common customer questions.
- Provide subject-matter expertise for joint Fireblocks–TRES Finance opportunities.
- Share field insights with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Contribute to improving messaging and positioning.
- Ensure smooth handoffs between Fireblocks and TRES Finance sales motions.
