Requirements
- Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or electronics engineering, or comparable education
- German Certificate as occupational safety engineer
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in EHS function
- Knowledge of EHS legislation and implementation in Germany
- Experience with general EHS auditing
- Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
- Readiness for occasional travelling
- Excellent German and English skills
Tasks
- Drive Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs
- Ensure compliance with EHS codes, standards, and regulations
- Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities
- Conduct EHS training for employees and management
- Investigate EHS incidents and drive corrective actions
- Provide management updates on projects and programs
- Maintain communication with site functions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on EHS aspects
- Manage consultants and contractors for EHS programs
- Develop scopes of work and manage project budgets
- Monitor semiconductor processes
- Classify defects on wafers
