Requirements
- •Bachelor’s degree, high school degree, or commercial apprenticeship
- •Certified Occupational Health & Safety representative and Certified First Aider and Fire Protection Assistant
- •Proven HSE experience or strong interest with ambition to grow
- •Initial experience with occupational safety laws/regulations or willingness to build proficiency
- •Strong awareness of safety, data protection, and compliance
- •Solid office management skills; proactive in training/compliance; proficient in MS Office and SAP/Coupa
- •Strong project management, communication, and organizational planning abilities
- •Proven confidentiality and integrity; collaborative, self-driven team player
- •Ability to take a pragmatic approach in problem-solving and desire to improve processes
- •Fluent in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Tasks
- •Operate and maintain the local HSE management system
- •Advise on local HSE strategy and risk-informed decisions
- •Partner with site leadership on ergonomics and fire protection
- •Ensure contractor and visitor safety
- •Provide independent assurance through governance and audits
- •Oversee performance reporting for HSE initiatives
- •Review and modify procedural documents as needed
- •Maintain the legal register and deliver the annual SHE Improvement Plan
- •Manage record retention for HSE compliance
- •Plan and implement safety training for employees
- •Support onboarding with safety instructions and access tools
- •Lead targeted safety communications
- •Identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace
- •Implement controls and review their effectiveness regularly
- •Administer accident and near-miss reporting
- •Support investigations and conduct root cause analysis
- •Conduct safety walks and ensure corrective actions are completed
- •Verify contractor qualifications and risk assessments
- •Brief service providers on HSE expectations
- •Monitor compliance and escalate nonconformances
- •Coordinate evacuation drills and maintain emergency response plans
- •Ensure fire safety arrangements and coverage of first aiders
- •Coordinate medical checks and ergonomic assessments
- •Liaise with occupational physicians and works council
- •Oversee waste segregation and compliant disposals
- •Support energy and water efficiency initiatives
- •Track basic environmental KPIs
- •Coordinate external facility service providers
- •Monitor delivery of hard and soft services
- •Set priorities and monitor KPIs and SLAs
- •Manage facility projects and operational exchanges with service providers
- •Interface on lease matters and obligations
- •Plan and manage the HSE budget
- •Approve invoices and oversee vendor onboarding
- •Ensure cost control and variance tracking
- •Coordinate site access and security measures
- •Ensure preventive maintenance and statutory inspections
- •Assess HSE impacts of changes and secure necessary approvals
