- Execute integration tests in simulation and on hardware
- Verify the full robotic control chain
- Ensure reliable state reporting and diagnostics
- Validate error-handling within the ROS 2 ecosystem
- Test the ROS 2 hardware interface and initialization
- Verify state and command interfaces
- Conduct structured hardware testing from SIL to HIL
- Perform complete end-to-end system validation
- Develop automated test scripts and custom tools
- Extend standard ROS 2 utilities
- Perform long-duration stability and performance tests
- Conduct controlled fault-injection experiments
- Document results and analyze system behavior
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Refine testing workflows to improve software coverage
