Requirements

  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • High attention to detail and risk assessment skills
  • Effective communication capabilities
  • Financial management experience (capital/liquidity management or market/credit risk in retail)
  • Experience with risk reporting
  • Ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience with risk management software and tools
  • Outsourcing/Third Party Risk Management experience

Tasks

  • Align risk management with organizational framework, strategy, and appetite
  • Conduct risk and control self-assessments
  • Prepare evidence of control framework adherence for senior management and Board
  • Educate and train staff on risk responsibilities
  • Oversee and challenge risk event management
  • Demonstrate understanding of liquidity risk management and stress testing
  • Challenge and provide an overview of trading risk
  • Provide risk reports and updates on the Firm’s risk profile
  • Participate in new product approval, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
  • Report and track key risk and performance indicators
  • Promote risk management as a universal responsibility
  • Act as a risk champion across the organization

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
  • Master's degree

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
