Requirements

• •Experienced mechanical engineer
• •Masters’ qualification or equivalent
• •At least 5 years’ experience in power industry
• •Expert knowledge of gas turbines
• •Commitment to technological developments
• •Native-level German
• •Fluent English
• •Spanish and Italian advantageous
• •Open-mindedness and curiosity
• •Adaptability to change
• •Interest in presenting risk-related content
• •Experience in insurance, risk management, or claims
• •Interest in data analytics and risk engineering tools
• •Ability to integrate AI-driven insights

Tasks

• •Serve as the global engineering expert for gas turbines
• •Conduct risk assessments for diverse plants and operational risks
• •Perform desk-top reviews and technical evaluations
• •Execute on-site and remote surveys to generate reports
• •Develop customized risk management and insurance programs
• •Maintain professional relationships with clients, brokers, and underwriters
• •Monitor third-party work quality and manage associated budgets
• •Track technological developments and share knowledge in expert groups
• •Establish risk assessment criteria for prototypical technologies
• •Collaborate with claims teams to analyze large losses
• •Support the development of data-based risk analysis tools
• •Deliver technical training presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• •Represent the company in international technical committees
