Description

As a Research Scientist in Biochemistry focusing on enzyme complexes, you will engage in innovative research, develop assays, and collaborate with diverse teams to uncover biological mechanisms and potential disease interventions.

Requirements

• •PhD degree in biochemistry, biology, or comparable discipline
• •Advanced experience in enzymology and biochemical technologies such as TR-FRET, AlphaLisa, luminescence, FI, FP, FRET/BRET
• •Experience with biophysical technologies like nanoDSF, TSA, MST, ITC, or SPR
• •Long-term engagement in research on complex biological systems
• •3+ years of relevant work experience and basic knowledge of the drug discovery process
• •Ability to plan experiments and analyze biochemical/biophysical data
• •Experience in discussing data from neighboring disciplines
• •Positive, communicative, and open personality
• •Fluent English and basic German language skills

Tasks

• •Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• •Develop biochemical binding assays in microplate format
• •Create functional assays for multi-membered biological systems
• •Contribute to defining research goals and experimental strategies
• •Investigate biological mechanisms and identify intervention points
• •Summarize research results in quarterly and project completion reports
