Requirements

  • •Extensive experience managing applied research projects
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing technologies and processes
  • •Experience in semiconductor device design and simulation
  • •Experience in data preparation and modeling
  • •Fluent written and spoken English
  • •Knowledge of German is an advantage
  • •Confident manner with potential customers
  • •Organized approach to complex problems
  • •High degree of commitment
  • •Joy in taking on responsibility within a team

Tasks

  • •Manage industrial and third-party funded projects
  • •Acquire new research and development projects
  • •Present the GaN power device portfolio
  • •Represent the institute at trade fairs
  • •Coordinate subprojects and specific work packages
  • •Design and manufacture semiconductor components
  • •Characterize GaN power devices and membranes
  • •Document and publish research results
  • •Secure intellectual property through patents
