Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, or relevant scientific/technical discipline
  • 7–10 years managerial responsibility in B2B sales/service organization
  • Success leading and developing remote sales teams
  • Track record delivering results in fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, personal care, healthcare, or medical devices industries
  • Commercial acumen with technical and scientific understanding
  • Leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Communication skills for interacting at all organizational levels
  • Fluent English and German
  • Additional languages (e.g. French) are a strong plus

Tasks

  • Lead and inspire a geographically dispersed sales team
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategy
  • Drive performance and capability building within the sales team
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
  • Develop new business and retain strategic customers
  • Manage key accounts and senior customer relationships
  • Conduct complex commercial negotiations
  • Oversee long-term agreements and pricing strategies
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
  • Identify growth opportunities based on customer needs
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Manage sales reporting through CRM and internal tools
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technical, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards
