Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a People Partner / HR Operations Lead role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law in at least 2 countries
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one of German, Dutch, or French at C1 level
  • Motivation to help shape People processes and partnering
  • High attention to detail and managing sensitive data accurately
  • Proactive, autonomous, and solution-oriented
  • Strong stakeholder-management abilities and collaborative working style
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring AI in People processes
  • Willingness to work from HQ in Berlin at least 3 days per week with occasional travel

Tasks

  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for the Netherlands, Belgium, and France
  • Serve as the primary contact for all People topics in your region
  • Resolve queries in the inbox and help desk
  • Identify pain points and implement process improvements
  • Maintain data accuracy in the HRIS (Personio)
  • Collaborate with Payroll for timely and accurate data input
  • Update the internal knowledge base (Notion) with localized information
  • Manage regional compliance topics, including health & safety and benefits administration
  • Partner with General Managers to strengthen company culture
  • Drive engagement initiatives with regional teams
  • Act as a strategic partner for organizational design and talent planning
  • Lead performance review cycles and calibration sessions
  • Partner with leaders on talent reviews and succession planning
  • Identify training needs and deliver tailored learning sessions
  • Handle employee relations cases with fair and compliant resolutions
  • Provide guidance on country-specific employment laws and regulations
