Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical field
  • R&D, engineering, or high-tech industrial experience
  • Hands-on verification, qualification, or productization experience
  • Familiarity with FMECA and V-Model processes
  • Experience with electron microscopy or precision instrumentation
  • Understanding of DfX principles and systems engineering
  • Master's or Ph.D. in technical field
  • Experience with vacuum systems or high-voltage hardware
  • Exposure to reliability engineering or lifetime qualification
  • Background in low-volume, high-value manufacturing
  • Strong command of FMECA methodologies
  • Ability to define, plan, and execute experiments
  • Experience building verification plans
  • Competence in data analysis and experimental design
  • Familiarity with CAD, simulation, or analysis platforms
  • Effective work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong commitment to structured engineering approaches
  • Mindset for continuous improvement and standardization

Tasks

  • Lead structured FMECA activities
  • Identify, prioritize, and mitigate technical risks
  • Maintain continuous risk register
  • Develop verification and qualification plans
  • Execute or coordinate verification tests
  • Design experiments for testing
  • Collect and document test results
  • Ensure requirement compliance
  • Drive prototype to manufacturable product transition
  • Enforce design guidelines and DfX rules
  • Work with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
  • Act as engineering interface for verification and qualification
  • Enhance FMECA, verification, and qualification processes
  • Capture lessons learned and known failure modes
